Mid Coast–Parkview Health has appointed Kim Watson, MS, SLP, MLNHA, as Administrator of Mid Coast Senior Health Center. In this new leadership role she will oversee the organization and management of the Senior Health Center, as well as the system-wide integration across Mid Coast–Parkview Health. Watson joins a seasoned team of professionals who provide residential, rehabilitation, nursing, and geriatric care to older adults in the Midcoast region.

Licensed as a Speech Language Pathologist for more than 20 years, Watson earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. She has been employed with Mid Coast Senior Health Center since 2003, first as the Rehabilitation Manager followed by a promotion to Director of Allied Services in 2014. She is a graduate of the Hanley Leadership Development program and recently received a Certificate in Long Term Care Administration from St. Joseph’s College. She received her Maine state license as a Multi-Level Long Term Care Administrator in 2016.

For 35 years I’ve worked with the geriatric population - first as a nurse aide, then a therapist, then a leader in the Mid Coast–Parkview Health organization.
