Make a Tribute or Memorial Gift in Honor of Someone Special
You may wish to pay tribute to a friend or loved one by making a gift in their honor or memory. Tribute gifts are given or to celebrate the birth of a baby, birthday, anniversary or other special occasion. This thoughtful method of giving is brought to the attention of the individual you have honored, or their family.
Memorial Gifts may be given in memory of a friend or loved one in lieu of flowers. A letter will be sent to the family indicating your kind and thoughtful remembrance.

You may also choose to express appreciation for the special care that you or a loved one received from members of the hospital staff.

Give a Gift of Securities
Donors also enjoy the tax benefits of giving gifts of appreciated securities, including stocks, mutual fund shares and gifts of closely held stock. We would also be happy to speak with you about making a gift of real estate, tangible personal property, retirement plan assets, or life insurance.

Secure the Future with a Planned Gift
You may also wish to help secure our legacy of care for the future by making a planned gift to Mid Coast Hospital. Whether you include Mid Coast Hospital in your estate plan, establish an Endowment Fund, or create a Charitable Gift Annuity that will produce income during your lifetime, making a planned gift to Mid Coast Hospital benefits both the donor and the future of healthcare for our community.
Should you desire to make a planned gift to Mid Coast Hospital, you will become a member of our esteemed Heritage Circle Giving Society. Heritage Circle Members enjoy special lectures and events on current issues in healthcare presented by physician leaders. A plaque will be installed in the Hospital Lobby in your honor. A Named Endowment Fund may be established with an initial gift of $1,000 or more. The endowment can be named for you, your family, or a loved one. A plaque will be installed in the Hospital Lobby with your Endowment Fund’s name. Endowment gifts live on in perpetuity--only the interest is used, were needed most.
